Assistant Controller

Assistant Controller 32-40 uur (50-60K) English possible if you understand Dutch

Have you made your first steps into accounting / control and are you ready to take the next step? Then you might be the Assistant Controller we are looking for. If you are a native English speaker but have the ability to understand Dutch, this might be the place to develop yourself!

As a Assistant controller for our international client you will be responsible for reports, forecasts and also available to support with the daily accounting tasks.

Our client is an international manufacturing company with their Dutch headquarters based in Tiel. They have made the switch to a new ERP system and report directly tot their international headquarters.

Tasks and responsibilities

• supporting the Finance Manager in daily tasks
• preparing, compiling, analyzing and optimizing reports and forecasts
• assisting and improving of risk management
• performing general ledger activities
• preparing monthly and quarterly closings as well as periodic reports
• cooperating with several teams in order to improve organizational performance

Who are you?

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field
• Made your first steps into accounting / control accounting
• Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Able to work in a dynamic environment
• Fluent in English, willing to learn (or able to understand) Dutch
